A 28-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl at his New Holland Borough home.

Joseph P. McGinley forced the girl to massage his private areas on at least 10 different occasions inside 15 Colonial Park, police allege.

The victim eventually contacted Lancaster County Children & Youth Agency about the assaults, and police were notified last month.

New Holland police Detective Jonathan Heisse charged McGinley on Tuesday with misdemeanor counts of indecent assault and corruption of minors.

McGinley is free after posting $25,000 bail.

The girl said McGinley forced her to massage his legs, but often asked her to massage other areas under his boxer shorts, according to a police affidavit.

The girl was forced to give the massages at least 10 times since the beginning of the year, when she was 9 years old, the affidavit states.

What a f***ing creep if the allegations are true (for a 10 year old to make this up, VERY highly doubtful, so more than likely, he did it). I hope the prisoners have extra fun with him in prison.

If all this is actually true, then this guy definitely has serious problem, and trust me the prisoners will have a field day with this guy, because there's nothing worse then being labeled and being known as a baby raper, when you are in prison. I've seen that with my own eyes.

It seems like the NewHolland area has been in the paper pretty extensive this year with this type of things going on, what do they have a bunch of sickos living in this area or what?

have to play devil's advocate here...what if he's not guilty? His life is ruined with his name being published.
And where would a 10 yo get those ideas? Probably just watching prime time tv! Ever see some of the previews for some of these shows? Back in the day they'd definitely be "R" rated. And that's the previews!
ending devil's advocate...

Not taking sides either way on this one, because it would be unfortunate for this guy to be falsely accused. However, IMO, even asking a 10-y-o girl to massage a man's legs is just creepy and weird. And a 10-y-o is in about 4th grade? Sadly, even a lot of kids that young know that making accusations of a sexual nature against a disliked teacher or other adult is bound to stir up an interesting ruckus. I hope the investigation is thorough.
