While I don't normally support lawsuits, in this case I do hope this family gets their due. Our VA hospitals are a disgrace. And you can bet if the government starts managing healthcare, all hospitals will be just as bad!

Knowing multiple men and women that served in the so called war that we are in and seeing that they get little to no help at all i really hope tiara is able to win this suit. Don was a great guy and I was shocked to see the news in 2006. I wish you luck woodward family and tiaras family as well.

The men and women who serve in our military during times of war deserve the best mental health support our country can offer.

I cannot imagine the trauma this young man lived w/upon returning and dealing w/his memories .

Another *statistic* in the war.

Peace to his family and may they win all they are asking and more.

The loss of a loved one is always hard to bear but why does the family of this young unfortunate man feel absolved of any responsibility?
To start a lawsuit and put the blame somewhere else seems to be the norm in this country.

I survived WWII under horrific conditions, came to this country with my parents with nothing.
All we were asked is to meet our commitments to our sponsor and then let loose to make our own decisions and be responsible for them.

The armed services in this country is a voluntary one, do all these young people fresh out of school
have any understanding what they are doing when they sign on the dotted line.
Where are the parents, school counselors?
The recruiters probably make this sound like the answer to all their problems. Continuing your education so you can make a decent living seems like such hard work. I would think just facing basic training in some boot camp under humiliating conditions would make them rethink the recruiters pep talk. Instead they get married too young and expect to support their growing family on a soldiers pay.

Please, in the memory of this young man who obviously was not meant to join the armed forces in any capacity. Talk to your children, help them make the right choices.
Putting on a uniform is not childs play.
