i don't think the Pa Board of Nursing will do anything, unless a former employer files a complaint.
soooooo, her license remains in GOOD standing.
I am not positive about the Commonwealth but in most states....there is something called a "self reporting" requirement. A licensee must report to the licensing Board the fact that they are formally charged with a crime. As far as a revocation, the Board is unlikely to act until "guilt" has been established. I realize the public should be protected but at the same time: she is only accused at this juncture and the trial is pending. Any premature suspension & revocation of the license will laugh in the face of the U.S. Constitution and an accused "Right to a Fair Trial". The Board does not have the "right" to take a license under the auspices of an accusation and pending trial. Not sure if they can temporarily suspend it though.....?????

my 2 cents..
I DON'T THINK any nurse manager reported her!!!
and it is HOSPICE that should file a complaint today!!!!
and what is WOOMER connection to the PA Board of Nursing?
makes me want to throw my nursing license out the window since no one cares about their patients!!!!!!!!
"Steve Knoub, CEO of Hospice of Lancaster County, told detectives it was possible for nurses to "pilfer" morphine for their own use without anyone knowing..."
Wonder why STEVE KNOUB, the CEO of Hospice of Lancaster County is getting interviewed by the detectives investigating this case.... I think we will learn more from Prosecutor Stedman in the future.
