Thinking about attending Thursday's Chamber Business Expo at the Lancaster Host Expo Center?
In keeping with this year's theme of "Show and Tell," you can have the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce & Industry give you all the details by going to its Web site —
www.lcci.com — and clicking on the visitor's guide at the bottom of the screen.
The 30-page guide, developed by the Lancaster software company Nxtbook Media, will show and tell you all about it, including a listing of all 172 exhibitors with a map to their booths.
You can read about the convenient parking at Lancaster Host Resort & Convention Center, 2300 Lincoln Highway East, and across the street at Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park, with shuttle bus service to the expo.
Separate articles provide details about the day's workshops, which include the "Annual Legislative Issues Forum," 7:15-9 a.m.; "Innovations in the Workplace," featuring Dana Chryst, chief executive of The Jay Group, talking about employee retention strategies, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.; "Web Marketing Preview Session," by Propsect MX, 1:30-2:45 p.m.; and "MARKETEDGE: A Competitive Intelligence Certification Program Preview," featuring Rhonda Kleinman, economic development manager for the Library System of Lancaster County, 3:15-4:30 p.m.
The exhibits themselves will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free with a business card or $10 without one.
The chamber is also holding a preview mixer the night before the expo, 5-7 p.m. Wednesday. Cost to attend this casual networking event is $15 for members, $30 for nonmembers.
