I know I am going to get blasted by asking this, but I will anyway. This has been going on for quite a while now. And it looks like it is well documented across the country in regards to bounced paychecks and such. So why are there still people working at this hotel? They're paychecks are bouncing, and health benfits are no longer valid. Even if you took a pay cut wouldn't you be further ahead? I feel bad for these workers but at some point they just need to get out of there. You aren't going to get anything for sticking around.
For the ones that ask why they stay there. Its because when they call to try and get unemployement they are told there is no record of them. And that their wages have been erased can someone explain how the hell that happens? I know firsthand that several employees have reported that they had the wrong social for well over 8 months now and still they don't fix it. As sad as it is without a social ya can't get unemployement. So it isn't bad enough you are not getting paid even worse is you are not even getting credit for what you do work to be able to claim later. And anyway isn't this illegal? How can you just pay someone under someone elses social security number???? Looks like its off to Google searches for me.

You should not get blasted for asking anything actually. But in response to your questions alot of them people have been there for a long time...from a time when things were much much better. Its hard to just up and leave...and now when it is as bad as it is...its even harder because the jobs just are not out there...they hope for something better, they beg for something better. Thats why all this is being done now. Why should they have to take a pay cut? The company should be made to operate properly.
I dont have any hopes or dreams....I am married lol....but I can still fight for theirs.
