I have a very simple question to ask... why hasn't Manor Township asked him to resign or fire him in his current position as Manor chief of police? I would think it would be rather embarrassing for many of his subordinates to respect him under the current circumstances.

Also, he shows partiality towards certain police officers and accuses defendents of being guility before they have a chance or opporuntiy to defend themselves. It is my opinion that he is not mature enough to hand this the job as Manor chief of police.

I agree. If this is in fact a crime of moral turpitude....how can the community trust this officer to enforce the civil rights of an accused defendant? Really scary. The Ethics Committee has rendered their decision based on a thorough investigation and I would think will now turn it over to the Licensing Board. I guess the question is whether the community can now trust him.

YOU CAN NOT COMPARE A POLICE OFFICER TO ANY OTHER PROFESSION.

And that means that they - along with Judges - are held to a high standard of personal/moral standards. The example they set - or not in this case - is important.

I have had many dealings with the Ethics commission over the years. They are a paper tiger that only acts when it's beyond, beyond beyond beyond a reasonable doubt.

Wrapping yourself in 9/11 is reprehensible in my book.

Agreed. That is why they should be held accountable for committing a "crime of moral turpitude"...just how much is "a little fraud" or a "little theft"? Judges and cops are NOT above the Law. By the way...has anyone noticed the cops in Denver, PA....Oh my! They have got to be the most "polite, compassionate and decent" group of police officers! Whoever is training them is doing a GREAT JOB!!!!
