I didn't get the feeling they were making fun of drunk driving. I think the joke revolved around kids being stupid enough to throw beer cans out the window in plain sight of someone and getting caught. Hence if they had recycled they would not have been caught.

Run-you do worry me.

the reason what runutz said is funny is because everyone knows that DUI is not funny and is serious. Dark humor? Get it? I guess you don't. you could make a joke about any topic on this board and someone well have some personal story about it. Get a sense of humor or recognize a joke for what it is. Just a joke.

I don't expect anyone to check my resume before responding but c'mon, nobody would ever be in favor of such anti-social behavior. That kind of gallows humor is the cyber equivalent of whistling past the graveyard, there but for the grace, yada yada yada.

want to get mad?

a man and a boy walk into the woods together. The little boy looks up at the man and says "I'm scared, these woods are dark." the man looks down at the boy and says "You think your scared? I have to walk out of here alone."

Looking to get a rise out of somebody, make him a priest!

dc,
do you ever laugh, get a joke, take a break from being so serious?
Just wondering.
I actually do laugh, and joke. Guess that I did not see the humor in the comment. That is the problem with online posting. It is tough to tell whether the comments are sarcastic or not.......

Hmmmm .... I wonder if this will have any effect on the parents that leave the beer cans in my yard just before / after picking up their beloved offspring at my local elementary school???

Note: I don't know if they're drinking before picking the little ones up or just cleaning out the car from the night before*
