Ladies and Gents....I am extremely proud of you all. And you did get some attention because I was called by Vinni Gupta tonight telling me I was a martyr. Wanting me to stop everything. Keeping standing up for yourselves...keep letting your voices be heard. As Always I will be there to support you all.

Forget about suing. File a complaint with the Dept. of Labor and Industry. That costs nothing but 15 minutes of your time. You can file online at http://www.dli.state.pa.us/landi/cwp/view....amp;dsftns=3880 or you can call the Harrisburg District office @ (717) 705-5969. If you don't have internet access. Go to your local PA CareerLink office and you can use a computer there for free. L&I will get you your money! It may teke some time, (Which I know that most of these people don't have.) but by filing the complaint it will make you eligible for unemployment since esentially, you are jobless.

Word is that the bank took over the place?

What I do know is they own my wife's employer at least $20K. Good luck getting that back.

We all had hope. But an official statement was released not long ago saying "the foreclosure action is expected to be withdrawn shortly" So This is all a front of these crooks to keep their business and keep hard working induviduals to get what is coming to them. Although its not ok, everyone can be assured these crooks will get what is coming to them but, I dont think its quite what they wanted. And for the record 3 calls now this weekend from a rep of theirs trying to get me to shut up...to you guys I have this to say ,,!,,

One of the employees lost their kid over this. The bounced a check about a month ago to daycare, the explained to them what was happening with the paychecks and so forth. A month goes by still no paycheck. He gets his electric turned off, he begs the electric company to turn him back on and the comply reluctantly, He makes comments in the newspaper, and then a mysterious call is made from the hotel (who knew the state was watching him because of all this) and the showed up at his house and took his child. Told him if he could not feed and provide for his kid then they will to find someone that can until he gets himself back together. This is a person who worked everyday, who was trying to provide. This isnt someone who sat around and expected the state to take care of him....he was taking care of him and his child.

This is BS...thats the best I can say and still keep it civil.

One quick question, if "one" hasn't been paid in a month, how would one go about paying all of the Magisterial District Judge fees if one hasn't been paid in a month. The money the did have would probably have to go to family expenses. Just a thought.
Unfortunately going from one job to another isn't always that easy. My husband who has two associate's degree's was a dissovable asset from his company and after 10 years of employment was without a job. 4 months later, he has gotten 2 phone calls from dozens of applications and resumes submitted. Maybe these employees were hopeful that they would receive their pay or stay long enough for unemployment...
Just thinking out loud...
Well said. It's hard for some workers to just up and leave.

You are exactly correct. Plus lets not forget the 2-3 weeks it would take to get their first paycheck bringing the total work to pay ratio at 2+months of no pay to 2+months of work...not quite fair. So they hang in there hoping beyond hope they get a little of their money. Hopefully these people get their money soon and then walk out that door and dont look back.

You don't get it. You don't hang in there. Don't do anything more for this employer. Nothing. you give them a written notice in which you spell out the reasons why you are leaving, keep a copy for yourself and vamoose. And they still owe every red cent promised to you. You are casting your pearls before swine if you continue to take care of their business while they screw you over. The financial pinch needs to be handled together with the help of your friends and family if necessary. Also approach churches if necessary because some have prepared to help people in crisis.

I feel for you. I hope things work out for all the employees there.

So, this Kronos guy? Why is he still able to walk? Literally speaking.
