Yes... I think he may be acquitted....after learning about that robbery in Lancaster in which the shop owner killed the robber with a gun. That robber lived on Mechanic Street (close to the scene) and it happened the same day as Jan's murder!!!! This dead robber was living on Mechanic and allegedly belonged to a gang...and it may have been a gang hit? (Jewelry was missing from the body at the Morgue) Sounds like reasonable doubt to you?? Let's see: money plus an accomplished defense lawyer and a murdered robber living close by.... Reasonable doubt? If so....ACQUITTAL. Our boy may come home.
Yes he was involved in a gang,and he did not live on mechanic st any more he was removed from the home at the age of 16.We dont know if his friends might have gotten the wrong blond by the pool.never know what might happen there.

What I find disturbing though is that at the news conferance, STEDMAN never mentioned this link despite the alleged fact that at the same time, Law Enforcement was cautioning the mother not to go into Lancaster for her safety yet at the same time: the media "FRIES" Roseboro in the press. The coincidence is this: The Mechanic street link: the dead robber's mother still living at the Mechanic address and he may have been visiting. This robber allegedly had gang links, it is unlikely he had an apartment of his own, it is alleged that the other adopted brother still lives at his mother's residence? The two boys (both Afro-American~not that this matters) were adopted by the white mother and live (or lived) on Mechanic?

Just like member GROUNDPOUNDER once taught us: the police/prosecutor never releases all of the information or evidence they have. They only release to the press enough incriminating evidence that becomes public in the Arrest Warrant Affidavit justifying the probable cause needed to make an arrest.

MY POINT: It just goes to show how important it is to keep an open mind about whether you think someone is guilty until you are seated as a jury member and hear both sides! Our Press can make a person appear "so guilty" in the press and it is so easy to "tar and feather the accused" here on TALKBACK!

It is the word on street, first thought to be a rumor or falsehood but if it is true.... I would caution you making any comments at this time since you could very well be at this point a "fact witness" in the case. If in fact you are who you allege.... sorry about your deceased son.... I am sure things are hard for you at this time. It is never easy regardless of the circumstances surrounding the case.

I just do not want the community to further "tar and feather" a man that could possibly be innocent due to the fact that they do not have access to discovery in the case. Roseboro was "tarred & feathered" by Talkback members~ A defendant can be painted "stone cold guilty" until the whole truth comes out. Me included...he looked so guilty but now that this issue of the robbery/shooting has been disclosed, reasonable doubt is creeping into my reasoning.
