This guy is such a menace to society. I hope they take his license!!

Or here is a radical thought. If people do not trust him, don't go to him.

Has anyone who reads this thread actually been treated by this doctor?

My wife was. He sent her to physical therapy, which corrected her problem.

I have. My wrist was shattered into 14 pieces and he fixed it quite well, although I had to wear scaffolding on my arm for many months. I understand; however, that most of his problems are with knee replacement surgery.

If I needed wrist surgery again, I wouldn't hesitate to use him (first thing in the morning.) If it's knee replacement surgery, I'm going to OAL.

What are you suggesting about the doctor, Jim by the (first thing in the morning) remark?

Having said all that, there are surgeons who schedule too many surgeries in one day, and you are fine if yours is a 8 a.m., but NOT SO FINE if you are the 4 pm case. Orthopedic surgery -- especially joint replacement -- is an exercise in PRECISION. Centimeters count!!! The most alarming botched cases for Dr. Mauriello are those in which he used the wrong size replacement joint -- and it took other, more skilled surgeons elsewhere, to identify and fix the problem. Joint replacement is difficult enough surgery, without have to have it RE-DONE!!!

Where do you go to look up a Dr or Dentist to see if a complaint has ever been filed against them?
