I second this opinon. Really, why print this?

Yes we can, censorship now, yes we can.

Yes we can, censorship now, yes we can.

One thing I learned years ago is that censorship is and has been alive and well here in America. If anyone really wants to know what the world thinks of America or what is going on in America, go to the international news sites.

Thank you for the explanation. The way your statement about closet racists was worded, I thought you were referring to the posters on this thread. To my knowledge, none of them are racist. See how the way something is worded can give a wrong impression?

I am sorry that I wasn't more clearer who I was addressing. I was addressing the person who I responded to and to those who I have read recently in the effort to keep up with what is going on in my hometown. It has sadden me a great deal seeing so much division and bigotry. I hit my frustration level.
Right now my husband is stationed in the south and we live in a very rural/conservative area and the horrible things I have heard have horrified me. Having lived in so many places over the years has exposed me to many different POV and cultures, I have never seen/heard so much ugliness and I pray daily for unity for our country and guidance for our current POTUS and our newly elected one.

For Air America? Not so much! The fairness doctrine sounds like a politically motivated use of the FCC.

yes..rush and sean won...

how about conservatives?

oh right...

as to the doctrine...learn about who ran and controlled early radio...and maybe we can talk...

it used to be illegal to own more than 40-stations nationwide...

now the top company owns just under a thousand...

the #2 company owns several hundred..

anyone think that has improved radio?

de-regulation at work again...

some people NEVER learn...

I think you fail to see that there are people who voted for Obama based on his policies - quite many of us too. Just because you disagree with it, does not mean the country is ruined.

and the really funny part is...

the ones who didn't like obama most likely voted for bush at least once...

and look at the damage he did..

some people just NEVER learn...

but it is very entertaining...

Congratulations Theresa Moseby,

You've actually managed to pull together rhetoric from all of the dark moments of our history (racism, sexism, and general bigotry), ignore several decades of hard won progress, and put together a truly pathetic diatribe that should be the prime example listed next to "sore-loser" in the dictionary.

America had one of its grandest moments on November 4 by rejecting the hateful fear-mongering that some tried as a desperate last ditch effort to steal this election and instead chose hope, dignity, and personal freedom as its future.

God Bless America!
