Minus the $525,000 in liquid assets they can grab = $275,000.

I guess crime doesn't pay.

Federal judge William W. Caldwell. Federal judges aren't elected; they're appointed. He was Common Pleas judge in Dauphin County from 1970-1982, and has been on the federal bence since 1982. Hmmm. And who controlled the White House in 1982?

I doubt Dutch knew anything about Mr. Caldwell; he would have acted on the recommendation of some GOP leader in Pennsylvania. And even if we knew who it was, after 26 years, he'd surely be retired, and might be dead.

So there's nobody to vote against. Grrrr.
