Huh? I hope you're not suggesting that I " turn every animal related thread into a spheel against animal welfare." I usually just post pictures of my kitties (but this is dog related, and I don't currently have a dog).

I was just commenting on the twisting of information in this case and what it tends toward. The mindset affects my lifestyle since I am an unabashed hunter and outdoorsman. While this article may not have anything to do with that directly, the twisting of information and ideals leads eventually down that path.

oh, and I do have a picture of my mom's dog (she used to be mine, but it turned out I'm allergic to her saliva, so my parents took her for me.

That's about all I know.

She's a mutt. I know the mother was a mix of cocker spaniel and Yorkie. The sire was your garden variety Benji.

She is a really cute dog and has a great temperament. Since my dad passed away, she has been my mother's constant companion. Amie's about 10.5 years old now, and despite a little arthritis, she seems to be doing well.

She does remind me of Benji. Thats nice your mom still has her to love. Its good you still get to see her even tho you were allergic. I've never heard of anyone being allergic to dog saliva before. Do you break out in a rash? Or does it affect your breathing?

My skin reacts to dog saliva. Amie's dander doesn't bother me, but if she licks my hand, I get a horrible rash within a day or so.
