What was the cat's name before you adopted it? I'm just curious since I've been looking at their website since we adopted ours. There were a couple of cats we were looking at and I'm hoping that they were adopted also!
You only got your cat last week and he/she is already that comfortable?? Our is just now starting to feel totally comfortable at our house - you might have you hands full - LOL, full of entertainment!!! Our newest addition was sleeping in my sons top dresser drawer Friday morning and is sleeping in my lap now!!
Thanks for going to the Humane League...I can't believe that you looked at dogs AND cats...I would of come home with one of each!!!!
They called him "Lewis", but our son wanted to call him Joey, and Joey quickly turned to "Jo-Jo" which stuck. He was quite comfortable with us within a day or so. It took him a bit longer to get more comfortable with the other cats though. It's been a week and a day now, and he's accepted without question by out other kitties and accepts us without question. He likes to sleep on our feet, or heads...and about ten minutes ago, he took a pretzel out of a bag my wife was holding and ate it...hehe, I think he's a little messed up in the head...and now he's curled up in my lap.
Three of our cats came from the Humane league. All of them are sweethearts.
