Let's just end this thread GROUNDPOUNDER, OIF2VET, and all the other reasonable people. Harper and the other fantatics have no idea what they are talking about.

The police training video as well as the Broward County Sheriff's office demonstrated the correct way to do a felony stop that ensures:
The Police are safeThe Bad guy is taken into custodyThe Public is protectedMeanwhile, Harpers fairy (isn't it amazing that some cowardly bad-cop-defender has to make a name and come on the board to add nothing to the conversation?) try to defend the keystoners who TRIED to do a felony stop.

Their results:
Police get shotBad guy gets awayPublic is exposed to an armed gun man

Thats okay Ron and every other cop hater.

Actually I am trying to get them to change so that they are safer AND the public that's paying the big bucks are protected. Your way gets them hurt and exposes the public. BAD BAD BAD

I want professional and train LEOs and you want to protect the status quo.

He attacks Officer Miller's name by saying Miller doesn't have a clue and says he ain't afraid of Miller.

Dude - why in the world should I be afraid of him? He seems like a nice young man. What are saying - that I should be afraid? I don't understand? Miller doesn't KNOW who shot him that night. It was dark and bullets fly hundreds of miles an hour - there's no one who could KNOW who shot him! That's why it would be silly to ask him!

What a shame that it's gotten to name calling an Officer shot in the line of duty.

Name calling an officer? Er ah... I called an LEO - is that a bad name?

Join the marketplace of ideas instead of saying I/we dont know what we are talking about. It's very unprofessional and your defensivness leads people to conclude that you really don't know what you are talking about.

Thanks Bigfoot for steering to a calm reality!

PS Still with the physical threats? As I have said, I avoid violence and your practicing 'martial arts' blows on me certainly sounds like a threat. Especially since we weren't talking about it. Do you bring it up now because you figure by threatening me with that I will stop? Scarry people.

if you considered the suggestion of practicing/demonstrating open hand control techniques to be a threat, you are one very weak man.....

a threat (and a weak one at that) would have been "Hey RH, I'm going to judo chop you in the neck if you don't stop being a crybaby". But thats not what was written.... if you feel threatened over the internet, that is sad...

Dude, dude, due... he said - out of the blue - that he wanted to do his martial arts on me when we got together and that he didn't want a camera which would act as a witness against him. I have had more than my share of death threats and frankly do appreciate even hinting of violence. As to being over the internet - there are laws against threats over the internet.

You keep attacking instead of entering the marketplace of ideas. Too bad.
