my guess is they'd say something like "we don't care what you people think, we'll do it anyway. Just shut up and pay your taxes."

If the kids at Bucher are so interested in this project, teach them another lesson; what $22.5 MILLION means to every taxpayer in the Township, where that money comes from, and how their families will have less money to do the things they want to as a family becasue their tax dollars are being spent by out of control spendaholics at the township, county, state and federal level. Hopefully, if they learn this lesson, when they get older and sit on school boards they'll make better decisions and not waste tax dollars on ego-boosting projects.
