Good old safe, Republican Lancaster County. Where else, but there, would he be more welcome and where else to raise funds.
Having lived in other area of the state, the county seems to be worlds apart from other areas.

Very astute observation. Since I travel all over the state on business, I can agree with your statement.

However, most County residents deny this could be possible, when comments like yours are made.

Swann is doing poorly because he doesn't have any campaign money left.

Swann is doing poorly because he doesn't have any realistic, workable ideas
that resonate with the average PA resident.

Exactly ... the average PA resident wants bigger, more intrusive government, and is willing to pay for it!

That was actually the Republican-controlled legislature, which passed a package that has little in common with Rendell's original proposal. If Rendell's plan was so bad, why couldn't the State House and Senate Republican leadership pass a plan that is so much better?

I ask that same question. The Democrats in the House, along with Southeasten Republicans, voted the plan through. That's why there will likely be more Republicans losing their seats this Fall. Apparently they don't care about the average homeowner, so why should we care about them.
