I would much prefer that people see and heed the warning rather than taking a chance with innocent lives. Of course that's just MY preference.

Mine as well, and I might add that it's not like the police are letting drunk drivers off every other day of the year either.

Nice of them to give everyone a warning so that the habitual drunks that drive drunk regularly can either stay home that night or walk!

How about not warning people ahead of time. You know I don;t drive drunk on St Patty's day or any other day for that matter. I would be annoyed if I were stopped and questioned like guestappo Germany--PAPERS PLEASE!!!

However instead of giving the drunks a heads up they should have done it quietly and then maybe we would get these murderers off our streets and roads.
pml - go to Annie Bailey's on Tuesday night wearing your size 0 miniskirt. Irish dancing only requires rapid leg movement. A pint of Guinness and you'll be ready to dance all night................

Why not just have the cops sit outside bars like Annie Bailey's and test people before they get in their cars? If they are over the limit, walk or take a cab. After all Lancaster is law abiding right?

Gooolly why not pass a LAW that the police can check people out when they walk out of the Adult beverage establishments??? That would save gas and perhaps an accident or two!!!

They can't. I've witnessed someone leave one bar, fall outside, get up get into a car, drive down RT 30, blow two red lights, go into the Westbound lane (yes they went into the middle lane then into the other) then back into their correct lane, I was on the phone with 911. I follow the guy to ANOTHER bar, he goes in, 15 mins later PSP shows up and says "We cannot go in and do anything with him, sorry".
