And not even a quarter mile from the playing fields at the high school. So where does the ammo come down? Is it always harmless as it returns to earth?
It's not likely that anyone could be seriously injured by shotgun pellets falling from the sky. I've been rained on by pellets several times while hunting small game, when I hunted years ago.
If you're in the direct line of fire, that's different.
But there are laws that govern how close you can hunt to buildings.
