Here's a thought. If everyone quits buying puppies, the puppy mills will stop. If everyone that feels a need to rescue and nurture something, would investigate the Amish as thoroughly for child abuse and incest and then contribute their money to care for the children that need rescuing, the world would be a better place. I do not doubt for a second that it is easier to place and rehabilitate an abused animal than an abused child. Are any of the people so willing to support this cause also willing to prevent the deaths of children, more specifically unborn children? Would you even think of extending a hand to a young girl with a crisis pregnancy or is it more important to pour money into a highly publicized case of a nearly dead dog, even while healthy ones are being euthanized for lack of space? I am prepared to be attacked and misquoted, but probably will not reply. I do not wish to go back and forth. Just wanted to bring up a few points.
You are new here so I will extend to you as much grace as I can possibly muster. You might check out the pro-life posts on other threads before you come on the animal cruelty threads and spout absolute nonsense. It is possible to do the right thing in every area of life, not just human life.
I am about as vocally pro-life as you can get and I put my actions where my mouth is.
And if you seriously think that the God who designed all life, and took the time, effort, and energy to even design different breeds and species would be pleased with the so-called religious people who abuse their animals in puppy mills, then you don't know the God of creation. And if you think you are doing the Lord's work by giving those Christians who have a big enough heart to care about children and care about animals a bad name, then you really need to re-think the mission you think God has given you. Most of us are loving and caring enough to be pro-kindness and pro-gentleness for all life.
