This is alittle off of the Mast subject but in this log it states that there was an altercation/burglary/assault or whatever on Church Street in Ephrata. Why were they arraigned before a district justice all the way in New Holland? I'm sorry but that just seemed odd to me. Any ideas?

BigMac, if the person is charged after normal hours, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, Mon-Fri., the District Judge on call does the arraignment.
