What about the whole process of circumcision. I can't imagine a more unpleasant, painful experience, and yet, i can't remember mine at all.

This is certainly no surprise to me! Twice we dealt with Dr. Stevenson and had very bad experiences and swore we would never return there again. The first instance was when my husband's hunting dog was having a spell of some kind early one morning. Dr. Stevenson was "on call". When he called us back and we told him what was happening to the dog he told us he would be in his office later that morning and we could bring the dog in. We ended up rushing the dog into Lancaster's emergency pet care because we knew the dog would not survive a couple more hours till Dr. Stevenson would see him. The dog died in my husband's arms as he was carrying him in the doors. Perhaps the dog would have died anyway but what a joke to claim he's on call for emergencies and then tell us we had to wait until his office opened. The second experience was when my husband took another of his hunting dogs down because of seizures and wanted blood work to know what was going on. He charged a couple hundred dollars for this service but never called us with any test results. I repeatedly made calls to his office to inquire about the results only to get the answering machine time and time again. Finally on my last call I threatened to obtain a lawyer because I had been charged a fee for blood work and never got any results. Finally he returned my call (a month had now passed) and told my mother (who took the call) that he had tried several times to reach us. Yeah right! We have an answering machine. He could have left a message!! I double whether he even submitted the blood for analysis.

Are you serious "we the people"? To know that there is someone out there running around with such a chaotic thought process is troubling. You don't even make any logical sense. You are very scary... or the village idiot... or on drugs...
