'Getting into her message, Moore said there were four things she wanted to tell them in these times of crisis.
Look at what God has already done, she said. "Look at his Word from Genesis to Revelation and think as wide and broad as you can and petition God to show his power," Moore said, the way he did for Abraham, Paul, Silas, Timothy '
therein lies their probelem, they haven't paid attention to what their own bibles say. they don't believe what jesus said.you can't petition god or beg him to change his mind and expect results.
that type of prayer never works and when it fails they attribute it to "god's will".
bulloney!!
the way to successful prayer in outlined in mark 12: 24-26. it works, i can attest to that, yet they are taught in error to ask god for stuff or to do stuff. that is absurd, they just don't understand, why are the pastors in their churches not teaching the word of jesus instead of leading them into the ditch?
this is more blatant error by the well intentioned people who don't think things out but allow " religious leaders" to show the way even when it is in opposition to the teachings of jesus himself.
when you pray imagine you have already recieved the desire you pray for and in due time, in a way which we don't understand, it will come to be.
stop listening to fools and read what jesus said.
mark 12:24-26
kjv please, not those new bibles that change the message and sow seeds of confusion
I don't understand the connection here, Joe. Mark12:24-26 deals with Jesus response to the question of the seven brothers too one wife, and there relation in the afterlife. How do you see this relative to your posting above? I see it as an affirmation that things and positions of the flesh are of no consequence to heavenly things. What's your take on it? Thanks.
