In Ephrata Borough, a crash occurred at North State and Chestnut streets about 6:50 p.m. Friday when a gray Ford F-150 traveling north on State Street hit a silver Honda CRV, according to Ephrata police Officer Matthew Lucky.

The driver of the truck, Nina Beech, of the first block of Park Avenue, Ephrata, hit the Honda, driven by Jo Ann N. Loose, of the 200 block of Reamstown Road, Denver, as Beech tried to turn left on Chestnut Street, Lucky said. The Honda then rolled on to its side.

Loose was taken to Ephrata Community Hospital for a medical evaluation. Beech was not hurt.

Charges are pending, Lucky said.
