Millions of Pennsylvanians worked very hard last year to get kennel reform passed and have continued to maike their voices heard on this issue. Many mills have been shut down already.
The blame goes to the Providence Twp. zoning board, who must be among the very small number of people who still think it's OK to treat dogs like livestock and to those who buy puppies from mills, which means virtually all dogs sold at petshops, many dogs sold on the Internet and those listed in the classifieds.
As the puppy millers themselves have said, if we stop buying their dogs, they'll go out of business and at least now the state prohibits anyone from murdering all their dogs

Plenty of 'dog murders' go on without the spotlight of the public eye on them. I know atleast 2 people who have dogs they got from breeders (ex 'breeding moms' who they threatoned to shoot as well as one growing pup who no one wanted).

I continue to be astonished how long this saga of dog abuse goes on. There is this sense of 'complacency' from many old timers who get seats on these zoning boards. How many more dogs/pups have to suffer while they go home to warm meals, snug beds, and worship at their churches Sunday morning?
