A young man who opened fire inside a crowded Manheim Township bar, shooting and critically wounding another man, was sentenced today to 21 to 42 years in prison.

Colby R. Dixon, 22, formerly of Downingtown, shot Keith Pitt Jr. several times in the back because he was talking to Dixon's girlfriend inside the crowded Rookies Sports Bar in May 2007.

Lancaster County Judge Dennis Reinaker imposed the maximum sentence on Dixon this morning, saying he was disturbed by the "sheer callousness of your actions."

Pitt survived the injuries, but said he thinks about the incident every day.

You must be doing something wrong if you have to pay for it.

Your mom said you'd say something like that because she needed to work her regular stroll for paying customers first before you could have a freebie.
