In the statement she gave to the police two days after the murder took place (it can be found in the Affidavit of Probable Cause, which is available online at http://images.lancasteronline.com/local/22...ffidavitLOL.pdf ), Ms. Malomon said she looked out her upstairs window at 10:10pm (see paragraph nos. 34 & 35 on page 10 of the Affidavit )

In the photo referenced on my earlier post, one can see the upstairs windows of Ms. Malomon's house, which is directly across Creek Rd. from the Roseboro's swimming pool area.

If I recall correctly, a news report at the time of the murder said she had been napping in her bedroom before getting up to go work the night shift, looked out the bedroom window after waking, and noticed the unusual situation: instead of the "entire pool and yard area" being well lit, as it always was by the Roseboros' dusk to dawn light, it was "pitch black"; all of the lights had been turned off and the pool torches had been extinguished.

Paragraph #36 on page 11 of the Affidavit of Probable Cause details why the police consider this strong evidence that the murder was committed by Michael Roseboro.

It's amazing how open and visible that pool area is to the neighbors. The wrought iron fence affords no privacy at all so to kill someone there is very risky on so many levels. Turning off the lights is a must and who had the ability to do that could be very incriminating of Roseboro.

How much circumstantial evidence is enough already ?

Although it may be risky, there really isnt any neighbors to close to them... sure they have them on either side but its not like people are walking the streets at night ( compared to city life ). The 1 neighbor cant even see up the hill to the pool. Since there are only 1 neighbor that could possibly see the pool from their yard probably wasnt outside. I do ,although, thinks its good evidence that the neighbor reported the lights being off. If you have a timer, there really isnt any sense in them being off. As for everyone commenting on the jewlery being on Jan.... ha. im laughing bad. Its Reinholds PA.... cmon people. NOBODY takes there jewlery off when outside... maybe when mowing the grass but certainly not sitting around the pool!!

Those were some very bold, very conveniently timed homicidal robbers, weren't they?
