3 charged with assaulting, kidnapping county man

Three Lancaster men who police say assaulted, robbed and kidnapped an Elizabethtown man one of them had known from prison have been arrested, Northwest Regional Police said today.

The three allegedly attacked Cory Goldman in the parking lot of the Clearview Lanes along Route 230 in Mount Joy Township on Aug. 29 between 3:30 and 4 p.m., police said.

The attackers then left Clearview Lanes with Goldman locked inside a Gold Cadillac while they continued to beat and assault him while driving on Route 230, Cloverleaf Road and Schwanger Road.

Goldman was found bloody and beaten on Schwanger Road in Mount Joy Township and was later treated at Lancaster General Hospital for multiple stab wounds, contusions, abrasions and bites.

Police have charged Eugene A. Greener, 18, Hector T. Morales, 20, and Robert V. Holmes, 31, all of Lancaster, with two counts of aggravated assault, robbery, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, theft and criminal conspiracy related to the incident, police said. The Northwest Regional Police Department ask anyone with information about the attack to call them at 367-8481.
