An autopsy will be conducted today on a body pulled from the Susquehanna River Thursday in Washington Boro, Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni said Thursday night.

Diamantoni said he could release no other details about the body, including whether it is male or female, because of an ongoing investigation.

Police in Manor Township said Thursday night they were releasing no information, other than to confirm the discovery of a body.

A supervisor at Lancaster County-Wide Communications said police were dispatched to the area of Water (Route 441) and Donegal streets about 9:30 a.m.

Fire crews were dispatched a short time later to aid in the recovery of the body.

Sad. Families are most likely on their last nerve waiting to see if this is their missing family member.

Yes, but, wasn't she in Philly? Something would have gone terribly wrong.

There are now two missing lancaster women. I can't imagine what their families are going through.
