State police have charged two men with a slew of burglaries and thefts at southern Lancaster County businesses and homes, police reported Friday.

William Christopher Thomas, 28, who has a last-known address of Port Deposit, Md., faces charges of burglary, theft and conspiracy related to six incidents in Quarryville and Drumore, police said.

Police charged Timothy Lee Dixon, 24, of 1162 Scenic Trail, Drumore, with burglary, theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property related to those incidents and four others in Peach Bottom and Quarryville, police said.

The incidents occurred between February and June.

Police said the victims included: Henry's Welding, 1537 River Road, Drumore; Little Britain Agri-Supply, 398 N. Little Britain Road, Quarryville; Jerome Rhoads, of the 1100 block of Drywells Road, Quarryville; and DH Welding, 459 Valley Road, Quarryville.

Also, Raymond Shade, of the 1400 block of Lancaster Pike, Quarryville; Black Bear Structures, 1865 Lancaster Pike, Peach Bottom; Happy Valley Farms, 170 Laurel Drive, Quarryville; CBD Wholesale/Custom Built Decks, 2474 Robert Fulton Highway, Peach Bottom; and O'Donnell's, 125 Shady Lane, Quarryville.

Authorities in Maryland arrested Thomas on Oct. 2. He was extradited to Pennsylvania and sent to Lancaster County Prison on an unrelated warrant, police said.

Police filed the burglary-related charges against Thomas on Oct. 15. He was arraigned before District Judge Stuart Mylin and sent back to county prison in lieu of bail on an outstanding warrant.

Dixon was charged Wednesday before Mylin, police said, and released on $40,000 unsecured bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thomas and Dixon before Mylin at 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 27, police said.
