L-L soccer title game to be played Monday

The L-L League boys' soccer championship game between Manheim Township and Hempfield, scheduled for Saturday night, was postponed because of rain.

The game was rescheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at Penn Manor.

District soccer:
The play-in round of the District Three Class AAA and AA soccer playoffs is set for Monday.

In AAA games involving L-L teams, Elizabethtown hosts Chambersburg, Penn Manor travels to Carlisle, Ephrata hosts Garden Spot, and McCaskey plays Wilson at Governor Mifflin, all at 7 p.m.

In AA games involving L-L teams, Lancaster Catholic is at Greenwood, Donegal hosts Kutztown, Elco hosts Oley Valley and Northern Lebanon is at Brandywine Heights. All games are at 7 p.m.

The first round of the Class A playoffs begins Wednesday. Annville-Cleona is at Camp Hill at 7 p.m., Lancaster Christian at Upper Dauphin at 7 p.m., Carson Long at Lancaster Country Day at 4 p.m. and Lititz Christian at Fairfield at 7 p.m.

Field hockey:
In Class AAA field hockey, seven L-L League teams will see first-round action Tuesday. No. 2 seed Penn Manor takes on Twin Valley at 6 p.m. at Hempfield High School. Warwick plays Hempfield at 4 p.m. at Penn Manor High School, followed by Cocalico and Solanco at 6 p.m.

Manheim Central travels to Northeastern High School to take on top-seed Dallastown at 6 p.m., and Elizabethtown plays Lower Dauphin at 4 p.m. at Hershey High School.

Lancaster Mennonite and Donegal are the lone Class AA teams in the District Three bracket, with the Blazers playing Greenwood at Central Dauphin's Landis Field at 6 p.m. and the Indians taking on Susquenita at 4 p.m. at Hempfield.
