(18)ACCIDENTS: Kenneth Alvin Sr., 50, Lancaster, failed to stop for a vehicle driven by Marianne Maye, 47, Kennett Square about 10:30 a.m., Friday.
She was turning left at the intersection of Route 322 and Gristmill Road, New Holland police said.
Alvin's car struck Maye's vehicle at about 45 miles per hour, police said.
Alvin and his passenger were not injured. Two of the three passengers in Maye's vehicle were taken to the hospital, police said.
•Matthew Canfield, 30, Stevens, was eastbound in the 300 block of West Main Street just before 2 p.m., Thursday, when he suffered a medical problem, veered across the opposing lane and hit a utility pole, New Holland police said.
Canfield was taken to the hospital.
BURGLARY: Loot valued at $2,070, including a laptop computer, a pearl necklace, a pendant and other items of jewelry, were taken from an address in the 600 block of Pearl Street, city police reported.
The items were stolen between 12:45 and 5 p.m. Friday, police said.
DOMESTIC ASSAULTS: Norman J. Patterson, no age given, was arrested around 8:45 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of East Jackson Street for domestic violence-related simple assault, New Holland police said.
Patterson grabbed his girlfriend around the throat and pushed her against a wall and threatened her with bodily harm, according to police.
He was taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
•Yulexcy Sierra Claro, no age given, Lancaster, was arrested for domestic violence-related assault at 10:15 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Millersville Road, Manor Township police said.
DUI: Kimberly Sue Work, 40, Leola, was arrested for driving under the influence after she was seen sideswiping a vehicle while pulling into a driveway in the first block of Glenola Drive, Leola, East Lampeter police said.
Work failed field sobriety tests and tests had a blood alcohol content of .14 percent, police said. The incident happened about 8 p.m. Thursday.
•Rodger William Hatfield, 41, Strasburg, was arrested for driving under the influence just after 2 a.m. Friday in the 2400 block of Lincoln Highway East, East Lampeter Township police said.
Hatfield was stopped after police saw him driving erratically, police said. He failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of .09 percent, police said.
FLEEING: Jay A. Puryear, 43, Mountville, was arrested and charged with "fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and escape" at 12:25 a.m. Friday, city police said.
HARASSMENT: Kevin C. Dixon, no age or address given, was charged with harassment just before 7 p.m. Thursday, New Holland police said.
Dixon caused a disturbance and threatened his girlfriend's father in the 300 block of East Jackson Street, police said.
NOISE VIOLATION: Union Station Grill, 171-173 S. Fourth St., Columbia, was cited Oct. 15 for "operating in a noisy and/or disorderly manner" in June and July and for using a loudspeaker outside the establishment, state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: Rosemarie Mielke, 52, Ephrata, was arrested for public drunkenness in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, Ephrata police said.
•Tyler C. Love, 22, Wayne, was cited for public drunkenness at 1:35 a.m. Saturday in the first block of Cartledge Lane, Millersville, according to Manor Township police.
•John A. Chimelis, 30, of the 900 block of Clark Street, was charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and for warrants at 1:43 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of South Prince Street, city police reported.
•Tanya L. Moody, 21, of the first block of Caroline Street, was charged with public drunkenness at 12:47 a.m. Saturday in the first block of Campbell Avenue, city police said.
•Lamont T. Young, 30, of the first block of Old Dorwart Street, was cited for harassment and public drunkenness at 1:20 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of St. Joseph Street, city police reported.
SHOTS FIRED: Shots were reported to have been fired in the first block of New Dorwart Street at 12:57 a.m. Friday, city police reported.
No casings or other evidence were found, police said.
SPEED DETAIL: Police in Manor Township conducted a speed detail around 9 a.m. Thursday on Charlestown Road.
Police said they issued 20 citations for speed violations, with the highest speed being clocked at 58 miles per hour in a 35-miles-per-hour zone in the 2700 block of Charlestown Road. Three other citations were issued for other violations, including driving under suspension, police said.
TRESPASS: Robert W. Hampton, 23, of the first block of Old Dorwart Street, was arrested for trespass in the 200 block of West James Street at 1:39 p.m. Friday, city police reported.
UNDERAGE DRINKING: A warrant was issued for the arrest of Samuel Diaz, 22, no address, for giving alcohol to a minor in Elizabethtown Oct. 17, state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said.
The minor, Eric Scott Betz, 18, Elizabethtown, was charged with underage drinking, police said.
VANDALISM: Two men were seen damaging a fence in the 600 block of East Main Street at 11:30 a.m. Friday, New Holland police said.
•A vehicle in the 300 block of West Orange Street was reported to have been scratched sometime between 2 and 11:30 p.m. Friday, city police reported.
•An American flag was removed from a porch and ripped in the 500 block of West Lemon Street, city police reported.
Police said the flag was damaged sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 5:30 a.m. Friday.
WARRANTS: Corey J. Calderwood, 28, Ephrata, was arrested Thursday on an outstanding bench warrant for a parole violation and taken to Lancaster County Prison, Ephrata police said.
•Brian M. Cunningham, 20, of the 100 block of North Reservoir Street, was stopped by Manor township police at 7:22 a.m. Saturday and arrested on warrants, city police reported.
Cunningham was then taken to the city police station, city police reported.
