The man, a 29-year-old resident of the 700 block of Rockland Street, said that he was walking home from a party shortly before 1:30 a.m. when six people wearing Halloween masks approached, police said.
Members of the group said something to him that he couldn't remember later, and then all six punched and kicked him, police said.
The man started to fight back and was stabbed, police said. He sustained an inch-long laceration on his upper left arm.
The man went to his home after the incident, and his wife took him to Lancaster General Hospital, where he was treated and released, police said.
Police on Wednesday said they had no suspects.
