Chad Frey returned a pair of punts for touchdowns and added a touchdown run, and Nate Shank had a pair of touchdown passes to lead Lampeter-Strasburg to a 55-7 rout over Annville-Cleona in an L-L League Section Three game Friday night in Annville.

It was the Pioneers' fourth victory in a row, and L-S ended up alone in second place in Section Three with a 6-1 mark (7-3 overall).

Zach Halpin and Dan Kehoe each had a TD run, and Christian DelRocini had a TD run and a TD catch for L-S, which led 48-0 at the half.

Shank went 3-for-3 in the passing department, and two of the completions went for touchdowns as L-S locked up a spot in the District Three Class AAA playoffs. The Pioneers won the AAA crown in 2007.

Frey continued his torrid stretch for L-S. One week after rushing for three scores, returning an interception for a score and taking a punt back for a score, he scored three touchdowns — two more in special teams.

Annville-Cleona, which managed just one second-half touchdown, lost its third game in a row and finished its season 3-4 in Section 3 and 3-7 overall.
