Loss is $1,000 in vehicle break-in

A theft from a vehicle on Wednesday in Leola resulted in a loss of about $1,000 worth of items, East Lampeter Township police said.

Brandon M. Jordan, 18, of Ephrata, reported that someone forcibly entered his vehicle while it was parked at Clark's Food Service Equipment, 2551 Horseshoe Road, Leola.

A Kicker-brand subwoofer and amp, and a wallet were taken.
