(2)Clyde Miller Jr., of New Holland, and Josh Torreulla, of Lancaster, both 18, were arrested Thursday morning at an apartment in East Earl Township, according to a news release issued by New Holland Borough police.
They're accused of attacking the victim, who was not identified by police, as he walked along the railroad tracks behind the 200 block of Locust Street at about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 6.
Police allege that Miller and Torreulla punched the victim and took his jacket, an MP3 player and approximately $400 in cash.
Officer Mark Willwerth said the victim, who sustained minor injuries, knew Miller and Torreulla, making it possible for the police to identify them.
Through questioning of family and friends, police were able to track the two men to the East Earl Township apartment, where they were taken into custody.
Both were arraigned Thursday before District Judge Rodney Hartman.
Miller was charged with robbery and conspiracy and was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $40,000 bail.
Torreulla was charged with robbery, conspiracy and institutional vandalism and was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Police said Torreulla scratched his name into the paint on a bench inside a holding cell at the New Holland police department, resulting in the additional charge.
