City police arrested three alleged street-level drug dealers Wednesday night after they sold an undercover officer crack cocaine, police said.

James Kirby Carmichael, 46, of 614 Manor St., sold .4 grams of cocaine to an officer in the 500 block of South Duke Street at about 7:30 p.m., police said. He was charged with possessing cocaine and delivering crack cocaine in a drug-free school zone.

Anthony Lee Marshall, 35, of 717 First St., was arrested in the 400 block of Fremont Street shortly before 8:30 p.m., police said. He allegedly sold .2 grams of crack cocaine to an officer for $40. He was charged with possessing cocaine and delivering crack cocaine in a drug-free school zone.

Rafus Eugene Lucas, 42, of 210 S. Prince St., was arrested in the 400 block of Manor Street shortly before 9:30 p.m., police said. He sold crack cocaine to an officer for $20. Lucas was charged with delivering crack cocaine.

Officers of the city police's selective enforcement unit were assisted by the bureau's street operations group in conducting the controlled drug "buys," police said.

I wanted to help you out in your quest to find an answer to this question, so I did some of the initial research for you. The following is a list of roughly 90 recent cases in which J. Richard Gray was the attorney. A quick search yielded over 400 cases in Lancaster since 1990, but I figured this would get you started. If you are truly concerned about this issue, then you only need to run each Docket number through the PA Court system website and you can see what the charges were for each person and what the final outcome was. Then, you can cross-reference that with a UJS search of each defendant and see if there are any subsequent arrests for that individual. This would only be the tip of the iceberg though, since you would want to confirm that any subsequent arrest ended in a conviction or guilty plea. But, before making any general assumptions based on re-arrests, you would want to review the transcript of the hearing or obtain a copy of the final court opinion. Do not forget to also check and see if an appeal was filed and what the final outcome was of that.

There ya go, Nicknack. Time to stop posting dribble and actually prove yourself. I know you won't do it though because it's far to easier for you to post lies and accusations than to actually research the facts.

I would challenge you to find all of Mayor Gray's past cases and compare those names to the names of those arrested this year. I'd be willing to bet it's either zero or a very small percentage.

LOL I know of at least three of his prior clients that have re offended this year!

More to the point. Why won't the Mayor answer these and other questions? Being Dale's lapdog and LNP having a vested interest in the Con, I understand why LNP never asked any him any questions about the gangbangers, outlaw bikers, drug dealers, child molesters etc he used his legal talents on to get back into society. I've posted no lies, and questions aren't-as you call them-accusations.

He represented the main pipeline who supplied garbage like this at one time. Representing the main suppliers or the little guy on the street?
