Burglars hit Ephrata restaurant, distributor

A burglar or burglars struck a Chinese restaurant and a beverage distributor in Ephrata overnight Tuesday, police reported today.

Someone forced their way into the China Taste restaurant at 8 E. Main St., Ephrata, and stole cash from the register, police said.

The same night, someone broke an office window but did not succeed in entering Fisher Distributing, 22 E. King St., Ephrata.

Ephrata police ask anyone with information about the incidents to call them at 738-9200.
