Woman struck by van

An Elizabethtown woman was struck by a van Wednesday morning after she and her husband stopped to help a disabled motorist in Lebanon County, police said.

Irene Geib, 44, of 349 Radio Road, was taken to Hershey Medical Center, where she was listed in fair condition Wednesday evening, according to a nursing supervisor.

The accident happened along Route 322 at Route 241 shortly before 6:30 a.m., Cornwall police said.
