Someone stole a vehicle and took it on a spree of criminal mischief in Manheim Township early Thanksgiving morning, police reported.

A resident of the 2700 block of Pebblebrook Drive heard someone start a Dodge Durango in the driveway and drive off with it at 5 a.m., police said.

The key to the sport utility vehicle had been left in another unlocked vehicle in the driveway.

The thief or thieves then drove the SUV through yards on Waverly Avenue and Hampton Lane, police said. The vehicle struck eight mailboxes on Wicklyn Road and Orchard Street and a stop sign at the intersection of Orchard Street and Northview Drive.

The SUV then struck a fire hydrant on Northview Drive and was abandoned, police said.

The amount of damage had not been determined as of Friday.

How soon we forget...Cheney is the biggest idiot, on the basis of the results of his idiocy. Beck is no mover and shaker--he can't lie the troops to Iraq.
