Very nice to hear!

This is good news. And the building even has parking!

The City looked at this building for a new City Hall, however the asking price was higher than City officials felt comfortable with. I'm very happy this property will continue to pay taxes, and contribute to the life and economy of downtown Lancaster.

It is a pleasant surprise (and relief) to read about good news for Lancaster City that has no obvious downside.

Hey Chas. $100/square foot for this deal. (if the paper is correct) Sounds like a good deal for the buyer.

Who's the seller ? Why wouldn't this buyer finance this deal on their own ?

Beiler said Gray, along with Gov. Rendell’s Action Team and Economic Development Co. of Lancaster County, assisted in putting the funding together for the move. Though not completely finalized, funding will include low-interest state loans.
