I a republican was at a Philly Dem fund raiser last week. It is a long story. But they are fired up and smell victory. I think Casey will be defeated because in the end people will realize Bobby is an empty suit.
I find it hard to believe that Santorum has a chance at all. Him going off the air says a lot.
According to publicly available reports, Rick Santorum is now 100% dark in Pennsylvania , having paid for no campaign ads today. Santorum has spent more than $9 million on ads so far, but his latest media buy ended last night. Since national Republicans aren’t airing independent ads in Pennsylvania , that means nobody will be on the air on Santorum’s behalf until Santorum himself pays to go back on. So far, Santorum has yet to reserve ad time for the final two weeks of the campaign...

Dare I say this? Guess I will... Bob Casey doesn't impress me from what I've seen from afar. I've heard others say that as well who are closer to the race geographically. I was not impressed with his father way back when at all. Didn't vote for him either.

Too bad the dems couldn't get a better candidate to actually be a dem in office after Santorum is beat.
