Everyone must understand that this man was 55 yrs old and never married and always lived at home with his Mom. He so obviously only had her, probably she always took care of him and he just didn't know what to do when she died. I personally feel the rest of him died along with her. This is so sad and I don't think jokes like " Isn't that just like a man? His mom dies and he can't feed himself "
are very appriate here. That is what is wrong with this world today, no one truly feels anyone elses pain or even tries to understand it let alone try to see what it may be like to be in someone elses shoes.
This is just plain sad and my heart breaks for these two people that no one seemed to have the time of day for, no one meaning their own family, as the people who lived around them wouldn't have known what was going on. But family members having to be contacted by the press is just horrible.
Just my 2 cents as it breaks my heart to hear when someone has family and they just don't care enough to at least have someone look in at intervals to make sure their alright.
So sad!! God Bless them both!
Well said, MrHarley.
And Massagemama, your situation is equally sad. At least you were able to save your aunt (and hopefully get your uncle some much-needed help). God bless you!
