Perhaps this story is best entitled, "When egos collide."

Revelation, it is not really ego's. Kirchner has a big mouth. When you have a criminal case, you have to stay close to the vest on a lot of things. You have to keep thing back that only the person who committed the crime knows. That way when you catch him and questions him, you are able to ask questions that only the bad guy would know. Kirchner likes to open his mouth and give out stuff that the DA would like to keep under wraps. I happened to be watching CNN last night. That lawyer, Van something or other from OJ trial was doing a show on the Amish shootings. She was talking to Kirchner. He was saying how upseting it was and that he was at the morgue when the shooting happened. He was told about the shooting and then responed to the scene. He said he got there about noon. Well I was there from 11:00 Am. till about 3 PM and he never show up till about 2 PM. Two of his deputies were there around noon but he didn't show up till around 2. This guy likes to be in the spotlight. He embelishes his stories a little to look more important than he is. This guy needs to be held back before he screws up and investigation. The other thing is that some of his deputies are not even doctors and that doesn't give the police officer much confidence when some unknown entety shows up. Under previous coroners, all the deputies were doctors. Kirchner is paying off some political debts.

The last thing Lancaster needs is yet another judge with an ego that barely fits through the doors of the Court House...
