This has got to be the dumbest idea about RT 23 yet. Build a two lane highway, that will be obsoleat the day it's finished and a bicycle trail with the other unfinished lane. Build a 4 lane highway and get into the 21st century.

I can't wait to load my family up in the minivan with our bikes and head to this trail. It will be so much fun to be biking down a path that is out in the open and have cars flying by with nothing but a patch of grass between us..........

Wow! That sure does sound fun. What's wrong with these people?

"Build a 4 lane highway and get into the 21st century."
I'm of the same mind. Like it or not our communities are growing in 21st century proportion. Clear problem, increasing number of drivers. Common sense solution, state of the art highways. To consider anything less than the necessary 21st century resolution to this highway problem is to bandaid it with a 20th century approach.
