Can't celebrate in Penn Square, darkness from the destruction is too depressing.

We're going to ring in the new year with the homeless. Our Synagogue hosts a temporary shelter this time of year and they were short on volunteers for this night.

If the experience is anything like last year, we'll be starting out 2007 as extremely humbled and grateful for what we have.
