gambling is just another subject where people need to take responsibility for themselves. If you can't afford it, don't gamble. I can't afford to go and play the slots but I can buy a raffle ticket or a PowerBall ticket... I'm going to win too

I'd like to see private gambling permitted, with less involvement of the government, but in lieu of that, I basically agree with each of the last four posts. These pols are simply making a play for their socially conservative base.

It always seemed so strange that the PA Lottery was extended to Sundays. Usually that brings out the God Squad.

Oh, wait... it was not in the 'best interest' of the God Squad to protest... their elderly members BENEFITED from the Sunday sales. Wouldn't want to p*ss off the constituency.
