I was born in Lancaster, but moved to Florida many years ago. I was one of the 500+ "Hanging Chads" that voted for Bush. I'm glad to say I was one of those who elected him with my vote here in Florida in 2000. I will vote for him in '04 too. Read up on Kerry. The first year of a Kerry administration will cost the average taxpayer $2,000+. That's even after the tax increase Kerry has planned for the "rich". I'm happy with Bush. We need a President who will act without asking the U.N. what to do. God Bless America!

AND THIS MAN WAS SELECTED, NOT ELECTED TO OFFICE. Don't ever forget that. 90,000 votes were discounted in Florida and he was declared winner by a few hundred votes.

Too bad those 90,000 votes were not punched or double-punched. So who exactly was to determine what the voter's intent was?

It doesn't matter if the margin of victory was only 1 vote. George won Florida and numerous organizations went back and re-counted and no one has come forward and disputed it. With all the 'Bush Haters' in the world, if they could have proved Gore won Florida it would have been front page news and would still be appearing in Kerry's ads on a daily basis. Simply sore losers!

to commy_obscura.

Bush is President. Some of you have NEVER accepted that and are the real ones giving the USA a bad name. The whole Florida election vote counting incident was a sour grapes farce. Is it any wonder that kids today throw a game board across the room when they are losing? Some role models we are giving children these days!
