Proponents of raw milk claim pasteurization — the long-practiced process of heating milk to kill bacteria and pathogens such as E. coli and listeria — destroys good bacteria, enzymes and raw fats that boost the immune system, aid digestion and fight disease. I didn't see anything about Homoginization in this article. The cream rises to the top because it seperates from the water, even butterfat seperates from the cream. The problem here is cream/butterfat should go through the digestive system and homoginization makes the fat as small as the rest of the milk so that it can enter the blood stream. Guess what happens then! Maybe people don't know cream used to rise to the top. I hate to give away my age but the last horse drawn Queen Dairy milk truck stopped deliveries when the horse died two blocks from my house. Fuzz

we drink raw milk regularly. No question about the nutritional benefits; pregant women shouldnot drink it because of the potential for listeria. Aside from that, drink away..."modern" does not necessarily mean "improved"

When I was small, I could not drink pasteurized cow's milk. Something in the pasteurization process didn't agree with me and I had an allergy to it. I could drink goat's milk or raw cow's milk all I wanted to with no ill effect, but not pasteurized cow's milk. No idea why.

It's all in how you interpret things. Wait until the TB & Listeria get out of control.

When was the last time somebody in PA died from raw milk? Just wondering.
